About This Festival
Held every thrid weekend in October, this annual festival is Louisiana's oldest agricultural festival and since its inception 1937, over seven million people in attendance has been recorded. Join parades, the rice cooking contest, rice eating contest, farmer's banquet, and the Queen's Ball. Plus, check out the the arts and crafts exhibit, which will be held adjacent to the festival grounds.
