About Festivals in Minnesota

Throughout the ages, Minnesota’s festival scenes do a lot to shape the perception of the state for both locals and outsiders. There are so many different festivals available from urban to rural- from art to music. Festivals in Minnesota tend to congregate in the summertime due to weather constraints but there are also a number that are popular in other seasons.

As far as popular Minnesota music festivals there are a couple that come to mind. The Moondance Country Festival is a huge draw for the entire state as well as surrounding states. They have some of the best and most popular country music artists in the world coming to visit us in Minnesota. If country isn't your style Soundset is one of the best pop/indie/rock festivals in the country and people fly in from both costs as well as other countries to attend.

The Saint Paul Harvest festival is one of the most popular fairs in the state and is somewhere great to visit. Originally created as a gathering for local farmers to show their wares and barter goods it has grown into one of the largest state farms in the United States. If you are a fan of festivals you should seriously consider a trip to Minnesota- especially during the summer months.
