About This Festival
The Three Rivers Arts Festival has been celebrating art and culture in the Pittsburgh area for over 50 years. The festival was launched by the Women’s Committee of the Carnegie Museum of Art in 1960. The yearly festival is committed to showing the community how art matters. The festival brings exciting, engaging, and thoughtful art to the Pittsburgh area each summer.
This annual event gives local artists a place to showcase their work. Featured are musicians, dancers, actors and literary performers who perform and compete over a ten day period. Emerging artists have a chance to win a scholarship that will provide them with a booth to feature their work for all festival goers to see. The Three Rivers Arts Festival has been going strong for over 55 years and will delight people of all ages. Held in the early June of each year and supported by numerous national and local businesses, the Three Rivers Arts Festival is a place to bring the whole family to enjoy music, drama, sculpture, and more.
