About This Festival
The Rochester Lilac Festival is first and foremost a celebration of the exquisite beauty of the Lilacs that are grown in the region. This festival draws thousands of visitors to the Rochester and Highland Park area to view the over 1200 lilac bushes with over 500 varieties. Besides just the impressive lilcs themselves, the festival features a full gamut of attractions including local art, musical exhibitions, and many food vendors to choose from.
