About This Festival
The first weekend in October, once again, gives way to the annual Sorghum Festival. Explore a variety of booths, live music, a car show, parade, baby contest, kids games, a 5k run, and more! This festival started in 1978 in the county seat of Springfield with activities like sorghum cane molasses making, fiddle music, cloggin, and parade.
