The Big Bang Camper and Bus show on the 22nd-24th April is the first of Santa Pod’s trio of VW Festivals and celebrates its 18th anniversary in 2016. Big Bang is a firm favourite with all VW enthusiasts as there's something to keep the whole family entertained all weekend long.
With the drag strip at the heart of the action, race cars take centre stage with the stalwarts of the VWDRC taking the limelight and we can't wait to see what awesome machinery they're going to bring out this year.There’ll be a whole host of supporting classes competing on strip as well, and of course you too can get your VAG vehicle on the hallowed 1/4 mile in the RWYB sessions. There’s silverware up for grabs in each class and you need little more than a driving licence and sign on fee to have a go.
The music line-up has recently been announced and as usual there's something to cater for all tastes. On Friday night there’s dance in the main marquee with a battle of the DJ's between DJ Swifty B and Niki Dimensions whilst over in the Fuelers Bar is rock and roll band the Jitterbug Jets. Saturday night is Glamrock night in the main marquee as tribute act SNOG will join Santa Pod favourite Jensen D Groover to play all your favourite 70s Glam anthems whilst Marquis Drive host a Brit Pop night in the Fuelers bar.
