Festivals in Tucson Arizona are as diverse as the cultures in the area. Find everything from a Jewish Film Festival and a Southwest Indian Art Fair to a St. Patrick's Day Parade and Celtic Festival. Hispanic heritage is reflected in celebrations of Cinco de Mayo and Mexican Independence Day as well as in the La Fiesta de los Vaqueros Tucson Rodeo an Parade, which is held annually in February and features championship rodeo events, a parade, and live music. In January, Dillinger Days Street Festival features a reenactment of the capture of the Dillinger gang, live music, and antique cars. Other January Tucson events include a Quilt Show, Family Arts Festival, Square Dance Festival, Gem and Mineral Show, and a Stamp Show.
Festival goers can enjoy a Chili Cook-off in February. In April, they can attend the Wildflower Festival, the Arizona International Film Festival, or the Pima County Fair. A Juneteenth festival commemorates the Emancipation Proclamation, and La Fiesta de San Agustin celebrates Tucson's patron saint in August. October features several fall festivals, including a horse show, a home and garden show, and the Buckelew Farm Pumpkin Festival. Tucson music festivals, such as the Bluegrass Festival and the Blues Festival in October, offer live music and food. The Winter Chamber Music Festival in March features performances by well known chamber groups, and the Waila Festival in May offers live "chicken scratch" music.
