Beaverdam Ruritan Club invites you to come on out to the country and join us for our 47th annual Independence Day Parade and Picnic on Tuesday, July 4, 2022. Antique vehicles, equestrian riders, pageant contestants, tractors, fire trucks, and floats are encouraged to just show up before 10 am at Trainham Rd in the heart of Beaverdam, no reservation is required and you may win a “best of category” plaque. Attendees are encouraged to set up along the 6mile parade route that meanders down Teman Road and ends at the Ruritan Park located at 18002 Teman Road where the stage is set for the crowning of Miss Beaverdam at 11 am. Hot dogs, hamburgers, and world-famous fries are served at the concession stand while inside the air-conditioned clubhouse Elmore Hall’s BBQ chicken mealthat includes beans and coleslaw is served.
