SCARECROWS ARRIVING OCTOBER 1st
Once again, in October, the streets of Eureka will become festive with hundreds of colorful and creative scarecrows lining the streets. The month-long celebration will officially kick-off with the annual “INVASION OF THE SCARECROWS” on Saturday, October 1.
A FALL FESTIVAL will be held at Legions Park, Bald Hill Road, from 10:00 to 1:00, and include Hay Rides, Crafts, Games, Airbrush Tattoos, Human Foosball, Spunky Beans Balloons, Wax Hands, Live Music (bring lawn chair), Food and Beverages. All activities are FREE with a non-perishable food item.
The annual VINTAGE ARTISAN FAIR this year will be held at The Timbers from 10:00 – 5:00 and feature up-cycled furniture, beautiful art, unique items, and much more. FREE entry. Live Music will be provided by The Jukebox Band with Mike “The Horn Dog”, Stevie G, and Cindy. Food and beverages available.
VOTE FOR YOUR FAVORITE SCARECROW for $1.00 with all money going to the local FOOD PANTRY. A new feature this year is our online voting capability.
