About This Festival
Dance Spree is hosting a 2 day Social Justice Dance Festival. in Greenfield, MASS. Come celebrate with us through Freestyle dancing, live music, workshops, open mic, omnivorous potluck dinner and more. Potluck dinner goers may bring a vegetarian dish to share with the group.

January 18(Friday)

4:00-6:00 - Advanced African drumming with Ult Mundane

Friday general admission (after 6pm) - $5-$10 scale
6:00-7:00 - Vegan dinner by Lynn & Joah

7:00-7:30 - African dance with Tara Murphy
7:30-8:00 - Beginner African drumming with Ult Mundane
8:00-8:30 - "I Have a Dream" speech - public screening
8:30-midnight - Drum & Dance
January 19th (Saturday) general admission - $5-$10 scale
4:30-5:30 - InterPlay with Judith Reichsman

5:30-6:00 - Open mic signup/sound check
>> open mic participants must arrive by 5:45pm
>> $5 admission for both audience & performers
6:00-7:00 - Omnivorous potluck with live music by Aura of Joy
7:00-8:00 - Open mic for Songs of Freedom & Struggle

8:00-8:30 - Live music & dancing with Michael Nix
Halftime - Social justice empowerment through movement and sound with Maya Apfelbaum
