A Santa DJ, skating elves, giant trees and fireworks will transform Flagstone into a glittering Christmas wonderland on Saturday 16 December.
Bring the family and kick off the silly season at a giant party which includes the opening of a new skate plaza – the newest play space to be built in Flagstone’s giant regional park.
Professional skating demonstrations, a learn-to-skate workshop and jam for the kids, will kick off at 3pm with fun and prizes galore. Whether your passion is boards, bikes or scooters, the latest track designed by internationally-renowned Convic, of Melbourne, is a great place to show off your tricks. Forget old-school carols by candlelight, this cool festive party will be in full swing from 4pm to 8pm with fun, games and entertainment for the whole family.
Meet the neighbours, see the talented skaters in action and enjoy music, gourmet food trucks and roving entertainers before the evening ends with a bang and fireworks light up the sky.
Pick up some early presents at the local arts and crafts stalls and treat yourself to goodies from the giant candy bar. And don’t forget to leave a gift under the giant tree for someone less fortunate.
The skate plaza has been cleverly integrated into the $12 million park and incorporates an amphitheatre and grassed seating, with great views over the skate track and stage, so bring a picnic blanket or chairs.
Queensland’s newest satellite city is making history. If you haven’t explored Flagstone yet, come along and discover the exciting new community springing up less than an hour from Brisbane and ten minutes from Jimboomba. Just follow your GPS from Mt Lindsay Highway and Teviot Road.
