The 2014 event is set to be tastier than ever before with a new Family Festival Village, the launch of England's North Country Food Market and the Brewery Vat's Bar Beer Festival back by popular demand. All that alongside a packed programme of food demonstrations, talks, tastings and pop up restaurants by some of Cumbria's food heroes.
Over the weekend we will have guest appearances from a few famous festival friends. Food writer, presenter and CBBC's Gastronaut, Stefan Gates will be joining us in the Family Festival Village hosted by Elephant Yard on Saturday 29th March for two live shows. The Meringue Girls as featured in the Telegraph and on Sunday Brunch will then take to the Festival Stage on Sunday 30th March to show us all the secret to creating the UK's next big craze, meringues, before joining the Family Festival Village in the afternoon for a bit of meringue fun.
