Each year, on the second weekend of October, the Greater Iberia Chamber of Commerce hosts the World Championship Gumbo Cook-Off, a premier event in Iberia Parish. Teams from around the area compete in multiple categories for best gumbo. Other food vendors are also available selling delicious regional foods. There is also a kid's competition for best gumbo that is sure to be a fun activity for all involved. Come and join us for plenty of food, fun and lots of gumbo!
