About This Festival

Be prepared for spine tingling chills, hair raising thrills and a few stories to unsettle even the bravest at the FRINGE WORLD Festival 2018. Presented by Christie Strauss, starting at The An Sibin Irish Pub, Murder Mystery History is a show not for the faint hearted.

Perth local Christie has been researching fervently into our cities grim past to present a true crime and ghost tour of Northbridge. A film and theatre major with a taste for history she will lead you on a one and half hour exploration into the alleys and streets of the city you thought you knew.

For four shows only, starting in the heart of Northbridge the group will explore pubs and alleys while listening to true tales of murder, mischief and mayhem. Be warned though, these are not tall tales but true events that occurred in Perth and Northbridge over the past 188 years of colonial rule. You’ll visit known haunted locations and hear first hand accounts of ghostly encounters, learn of the old Perth Gallows and stop at a few unexpected locations.
