Sunday July 10th is our Ottawa Family Music Expo, an annual free full-day event for families held on the grounds of the University of Ottawa. This event includes over 150 short up-close-and-personal 15- minute performances held inside Perez, the music building and outside on the grounds. Audiences will have time to interact with the performers between the mini-concerts. We will also feature up-and-coming young classical musicians in Tabaret Hall.
The Expo will include performances by such groups as Junkyard Symphony, the Celtic Rathskallions, Chris Pilsworth, The School of Modern Dance and The Nepean Panharmonics Steel Band. There will be wagon rides provided by Cundell Wagon Rides, an art show by the Ottawa Art Gallery, the Salsa Babies program with Dancing Mama, the Long & McQuade Instrument Petting Zoo, Face Painting by the Capelli Club and so much more!
We will be accepting non- perishable food item donations for St. Joe’s Supper Table and the Ottawa Food Bank.
