Perth punters can expect so much more than movies at the American Express Openair Cinemas this March & April 2019, with the announcement of 34 events in Perth to squeeze the last drops of summer at Ozone Reserve.
An exciting festival program of food, fun and flicks is revealed, with American Express card members receiving a range of exclusive benefits. Tickets start from just $17 for general admission.
FUN
With 34 events happening at Ozone Reserve, the festival vibes will be in full swing with an array of alternative entertainment, live music and DJ performances before the latest and greatest feature films light up the big screen.
Punters have no need to feel lonesome on their night out, as film fanatics and doggy owners are invited to bring their K9 furry friends to any screening (being mindful of films with expected gunfire and explosions).
FLICKS
The Perth program boasts an exciting mix of highly anticipated new releases and box office hits including Aquaman, Glass and Vice. Oscar winners including A Star is Born and Bohemian Rhapsody and Green Book also feature prominently in the 2019 program.
Families can choose from a selection of family-friendly titles including: How to Train Your Dragon:The Hidden World, A Dog’s Way Home and film buffs can discover something different with these program highlights:
- Free Solo: Oscar Winner (3 rd April) - Portrait of Alex Honnold, as he prepares to climb the 3,200ft El Capitan... without a rope.
- Captain Marvel (11th and 14th April) – The latest drama in the Marvel universe starring Brie Larson as Carol Danvers, who becomes one of the universe;s most powerful heroes when Earth is caught in the middle of a galactic war between two alien races.
FOOD
Sultan Pepper will be serving westernised middle eastern food - think crumbed halloumi and fig burgers, pulled lamb loaded fries and smoked beetroot borek cigars. No event is complete without an option for those with a sweet tooth. Haagen Dazs will be providing ice cream scoops for film loving troops.
DRINKS
