January, 2024

Various, Perth, Western Australia

About This Festival

Best Comedy Show - Adelaide Fringe Weekly Awards 2016
Nominated Best Comedy - FRINGE WORLD 2015

UK comic and freestyle rapper Chris Turner brings his brand new, fourth solo stand up show to FRINGE WORLD. The Crushing Proximity of Giants is this year’s new show and it is funnier than, bolder than, and exactly the same length as the other ones.

Since last year’s FRINGE WORLD, Chris Turner has moved to Los Angeles and he takes a look at cultural differences, board games with celebrities and attempts to put it all into context. Since moving to LA, Chris has also discovered that some love stories are best left untold.

Premiering in Northbridge, Perth at FRINGE WORLD, The Crushing Proximity of Giants is playing for a week Upstairs at Rosie O’Grady’s (31 Jan. – 3 Feb. at 8.45pm) and The Elephant and Wheelbarrow (14 – 18 Feb. at 7pm).

“Sometimes challenging, with laughs aplenty!” ★★★★ theclothesline.com.au
