Australia’s Queen of Burlesque Imogen Kelly is taking her brand of notorious historical satires to Perth with her hilarious one-woman show HerStory at Fringe World 2016.
With nightly shows at 10pm at the De Parel Spiegeltent in the Perth Cultural Centre, HerStory is a romp with pomp through some of history’s most notorious femmes as Kelly takes her audience on a time travel ride, paying a visit to the judged and damned women of history’s pages.
From Lady Diana and Lindy Chamberlain to Marilyn Monroe and Marie Antoinette, audiences will be thrilled out of their frills as they revel in the iconic stories of yesteryear’s leading ladies, including a visit to the death of Catherine the Great and Kelly’s original and world-famous signature act Let Them Eat Cake.
Following sell-out seasons at The Famous Spiegeltent in Melbourne, The Judith Write Centre in Brisbane and The Vanguard in Sydney, HerStory is one hilarious hour of thrilling sexual satire at its very best — be sure to catch Kelly in action at 10pm at the De Parel Spiegeltent in the Perth Cultural Centre from Wednesday 27th January until Sunday 31st January 2016.
