About This Festival
Take your children on a magical and musical tropical island adventure! Come ashore with Grace, Bec and Tash on a treasure hunt to discover a host of favourite songs. Using well known melodies blended with engaging lyrics depicting the characters on an island.
Musical Playground’s latest production, “Music Treasure Chest” is sure to have both the young and the young-at-heart singing and dancing along. As professional musicians and experienced educators, the trio of Musical Playground have created a unique combination of well known classical favorites and popular nursery rhymes as an introduction to real instruments and the opportunity for children to interact and respond during the show. Children will have the chance to see up close the flute, piccolo, violin and double bass as they explore the magical sound-world of Treble Clef Island.
Why not make an afternoon of it and come to our concert at 3pm then stay at the Pleasure Gardens to see the Fringeworld Mermaids swimming in their tank at 4pm.
