About This Festival

The Treble Clef Club of Pittsburg, Kansas, is hosting its third annual International Piano Festival and Competition. The competition itself is in three categories, Junior, Senior, and Young Artists, with over $3500 in cash prizes to be awarded on June 8th. The top three winners in each division will appear in concert, open to the public, at 4:00 P.M. that same day, in the Bicknell Family Center for the Arts. Then on June 28th the first place winners will appear with last year's Young Artist, Christian Atteberry, in concert with the Pittsburg Festival Symphony orchestra under the baton of Maestro Dr. Raul Munguia. On the following day our headliner, world famous composer, arranger, pianist
and conductor, Mark Hayes will present a morning workshop and an evening concert. All of this will take place in the amazing multi-million dollar Bicknell Family Center for the Fine Arts in Pittsburg, Kansas. Tickets for the concerts are $15 ($12 for students and senior citizens or $25 and $20 for both nights) and are available through the Pittsburg State University ticket office in Pittsburg, Kansas.
