About This Festival
La Ferme Electrique is a musical festival implanted in Tournan-en-Brie at the Ferme du Plateau in Seine et Marne (France, Parisian region - 25 minutes away from Paris via Gare de L'Est). For two consecutive nights, La Ferme Electrique stages around 22 concerts, happenings, music related art exhibitions, join-in musical experiments, rare or unpublished film projections.
Through the impetus of the association "Fortunella" and the collective "La Ferme de la Justice", La Ferme Electrique built itself around the ideas and the personal involvement of musicians and technicians united around a common conception of music, celebration and sharing.
La Ferme Electrique is also an old farm building converted just for the time of the festival by a team of do-it-yourselfers and artists who create together a setting made out of salvage equipment. This intimate setting is both convivial and friendly and defies the conventions and the chilliness of bigger festivals. It also provides a do-it-yourself alternative which develops creativity and sharing.
For the 5th edition, La Ferme Electrique will occur on July, the 4th and the 5th 2014. La Ferme Electrique tries to provide both eclectic and bold music proposals while valluing singular, fringe bands you would not see in other festivals
