About This Festival
The Walnut Valley Festival is a delightful five-day event featuring an abundance of arts and crafts, delicious foods and acoustic music entertainment. Talented musicians from around the world gather to compete against other top artists in their fields. Known as a pickers' paradise, the festival has several contests on an international, national and local level. Contest categories include the bluegrass banjo, autoharp, mountain dulcimer, hammer dulcimer, finger and flat-style guitar, mandolin and old-time fiddle championship.
