People in the mood for something a little unusual can head to Hamburg's World Famous Armadillo Festival or to the PurpleHull Pea Festival & World Championship Rotary Tiller Race in Emerson. People in the mood for more sophisticated fun can go to events like the Art of Wine Festival in Fayetteville.

Arts and crafts lovers will enjoy going to the many quilt fairs that dot the state, and people of all ages and excitement preferences will enjoy going to the Arkansas State Fair in Little Rock. This fair has everything from a professional rodeo to plenty of incredible stage acts, several beauty pageants, and a lot of fine livestock and produce that visitors can view.
