Whether you’re a runner, walker, or you just enjoy a great family day filled with fun activities and amazing animals, we hope you’ll join us for the 10th Annual Cause for Paws event on Saturday, April 21st at Festival Park, outside of Union Bank & Trust Pavilion in Portsmouth. The event features:
• 5K Run (starting at 9 am - dogs are welcome)
• 1-Mile Dog Walk (starting at 10 am)

• Local rescue groups
• Live music
• Activities for the young and old – 2- and 4-legged

• Radar Run
• Performances by Team ZOOM and the Portsmouth Police K9 Unit

Another exciting new addition to Cause for Paws this year is our 50/50 Cornhole Tournament! Compete alone or as a team. The winner takes home half of the money raised from the tournament registration fees. Interested? Of course you are! Register in advance through the link below and save. Please remember all animals participating in this event must remain on leash (no longer than 6'), be current on shots, and owners must be able to provide proof of current rabies vaccination (current tags are acceptable). Event proceeds go directly to fund the care of the hundreds of animals in our care.
