About Festivals in Atlanta

Atlanta, also known as "Hot Lanta", is the capital of Georgia, which is an alpha city, and known for its rich culture in Music, Arts, and Theatre, where visitors and residents alike, can experience a wide variety of entertaining Atlanta events. There is something for all personalities to enjoy, from the Falcons, Hawks, and Braves games, to the fantastic annual festivals in Atlanta.

The Chastain Park Arts Festival focuses on works showcasing local and international visual artists, such as sculptors, photographers, and fine painters, while the Atlanta Food and Wine Festival is dedicated to letting the serious food and beverage lover's taste buds marinate in the deep south's savory soul foods, as well as plentiful flavors from around the globe. Additionally, two local favorite Atlanta music festivals are the Shaky Knees Music Festival, which runs over three days featuring mostly indie and alternative rock bands, and the Atlanta Jazz Festival which is alive and kicking the entire month of May, and is one of the biggest free jazz festivals in the country. All of these festivals capture the diversity of Atlanta's ever-evolving landscape of multi-cultural musical expression and traditional southern roots.
