About This Festival
Set on the cliff top close to Margate, less than 90 minutes from Central London, Wheels and Fins is an independent music and action sports festival overlooking the ocean. Now in its 6th year, and with super-high production values, the festival is a heady mix of music from DJs to live bands covering everything from dance and drum and bass to rock and indie. Headliners this year include The Libertines, Feeder, Faithless, Example, Sub Focus and High Contrast as well as the unmissable Tim Peaks Diner, the brainchild of Charlatan frontman, Tim Burgess. And this is just for starters. Wheels and Fins is the place for extreme sports entertainment as it hosts the UK Mini Ramp Champs, The Extreme Bike Battle stunt show and Surf* and Stand Up Paddle Board* comp
With the music, extreme sports, yoga sessions, beach volleyball, street food, bars, camping and glamping all set against the backdrop of a golden sandy beach and stunning ocean, Wheels and Fins can truly boast that summery, laid back vibe and has firmly cemented its place as the independent coastal festival not to be missed.
