Limerick LGBTQ Pride Festival takes place on 10th - 16th of July, with the parade on Saturday the 15th July. Limerick LGBT has a thriving community working together and with other organisations to progress gay rights and culture in the city and county. The highlight of the year is the annual Limerick LGBT Pride festival. The festival is made up of a week of events, with the main event being the Saturday 15th July when the parade takes place. After the parade each year is pridefest at the Hunt Museum & a climax party that evening. Sunday is a day of workshop and recovery events. The festival is in its 17th year running in Limerick City.
