About Festivals in Denver

Denver is rapidly becoming more and more popular, with plenty to see and do. Its cosmopolitan vibe offers arts, culture, dining and drinks, with many places to see, feel and indulge in the artsy atmosphere. The Cinco de Mayo Festival is the largest of its type in the whole of the states, and attracts almost half a million attendees each year. It’s brimming with Hispanic and Latino vibes, and features food, culture, dancing and music. With Mariachi bands, Tejano-pop, salsa, folk dancing, Mexican arts, Zumba, rock music, Latin soul music and more, there’s plenty to keep you entertained. There are also parades, taco eating contests, Chihuahua races, fashion shows and loads of vendors selling arts, crafts, jewellery, food, drink and clothes. Hola amigos!

The Denver March Pow Wow celebrates the Native American tribes of the states, and is another great event for culture vultures. You can find representatives from over 70 different tribes and treat yourself to a bunch of traditional dances, costumes, food, arts and crafts. There are songs, drummers, storytellers and lots of events to educate and entertain. The event is also jam-packed with plenty of lip-smacking morsels and meals for you to get your lips around and fill your belly! The event is planned and hosted by the people it represents, so it’s a genuine slice of authentic and indigenous Native American life.

The Great American Beer Festival claims to offer more beers than any other festival in the world, so it doesn’t get better than this for fans of foaming and fizzy boozy beverages. You’ll find wheat beers, porters, stouts, sours, red ales, IPAs, pale ales, lambics, dunkels and more, and it’s a perfect place to try a range of new and interesting brews from all over the world. There are almost 3,000 beers in total, which is sure to guarantee that you don’t remember getting home. The festival also features food, competition and loads of entertainment.
