About Festivals in Tulsa

Tulsa, Oklahoma is home to many festivals and events throughout the year. Some festivals in Tulsa are more known than others, but each event offers a unique perspective of life in the area. Here are several festivals that occur in Tulsa each year. Events like the Oklahoma State Fair and Balloon Festival are just two examples of the opportunities in the area.

One of the biggest Tulsa music festivals each year is the Bluegrass and Chili Festival. Every year in September thousands of people come out and enjoy bluegrass music and judging chili. Another great music event is the Wine and Jazz Festival. This event is more upscale than typical music events in the area. A variety of wines are served for those that attend, and there is a jazz music competition to go along with the wine. The Oklahoma State Fair occurs every year during October and is normally located in Tulsa. This event draws tens of thousands of people and is one of the highlights of the state. A wide variety of food is served at the state fair, and those that attend get to enjoy various aspects of Oklahoma in one place. One of the biggest and most highly regarded annual Tulsa events is the Balloon Festival. Each year thousands of hot air balloons are in the sky at the same time above Tulsa. This event is a great photo opportunity and is best observed in person.

Overall, Tulsa is home to many festivals and events every year that are enjoyed by people of all ages. With its great history and diverse culture Tulsa is a great spot for these events.
